Pipeline Camera Locating
Pipeline problems - clogs, breakage or other damage? A pipeline video camera is especially useful when site drawings are not up-to-date or, with older systems when plans are non-existent. Video inspection is valuable where human inspection is impossible because of hazardous conditions or inaccessibility, such as small diameter pipes, boiler tubes, condenser pipes, or hazardous atmospheres in tanks.
As a camera proceeds through a pipe, it sees where the problems are and transmits the location with a signal to a receiver at the above-ground location. Used alone or in conjunction with sewer cleaning equipment, these cameras do the inspection work a person can't do. Any deviations in the pipe condition can be photographed instantly - then drawings can be created or updated with the new information.
This camera technology is a great time and money saver when it comes to locating septic tanks. Not only can we tell when the tank is, the camera will give us a good approximation of the depth at which it is buried.
